Launch and Land online! As most of you know, we closed our proof-of-concept development and began developing the actual game. Taking the knowledge we gained during proof-of-concept, we started from scratch and to make a long story short, we have reached a major milestone in the games development.
Here is what is now possible:
* Login to servers * Select you Character * Drag and Drop inventory * Equip your ship (drag and drop interface) * Launch (small ships only, capital ships still being implemented) * Fly about * Collision and Physics working * land on stations or capital ships * ... servers saves data and persistant universe is working!
We just ran a small network test and we were able to login several people and fly about. Networking appears to be working.
Currently in development and implementation: * Player Trading * Mission System * Market System (Economy) * Audio: Music and SFX * Game Content (models and textures) * Store Line * Squad/Guild Management * Faction/Corporation Management * Capital ships management and control. * Combat |
