Hey all,
We're still here, we're still kicking and we're still coding. Thought I'd drop by and let you know some of the features we're presently working on.
Mining is pretty cool and basically done. There's always fine tuning but its complete and operational. You can actually mine roids! And there's some complications to it for those of you that like to be perfect at everything there's an intensity component a distance component and so much more...
Refining is well refining. We've added a few things I like for example Refineries are Tech level based. Which is a good thing it means a TL1 refinery will never be replaced by an all encompassing TL5 factory. The reasoning for this is simple, the TL5 equipment needs far different extraction tools than a lower TL refinery needs in order to get the elements from the Ores. In this fashion we'll make the economy inter-dependent from top to bottom.
Production is going in now, and it has the same TL restriction but we're seeing how factories will be producing things and finalizing a few other tidbits.
We've made some changes to the theorycraft behind things and we've completed our first pass through a lot of the character classes such as Spy, Miner, Fighter, General abilities etc...
So I thought I'd drop that line, our sound department is doing an awesome job at rolling out some quality stuff. Our media department is slaving away to get the graphics constantly updated with the lastest shaders etc... And our storyline dept... well thats a treat unto itself you will all get to experience. let's just say it will be a one of a kind thing!
There you have it, our June update. I'll try to post it once a month for those of you that like to watch our progress.
